
THS is blessed with wonderful teachers who provide students with various ways to find their niche in our school. Mrs Madison Brown, the sponsor of the THS Anime Club took club members to see the My Hero Academia Movie tonight. Thank you, Mrs Brown!


THS is proud of our addition of the one semester course, Personal Finance and Literacy. This course is available to seniors and follows the Dave Ramsey teachings of financial responsibility. Students are learning about building a strong financial future, avoiding debt, personal buying, savings, bonds, and so many other key components of financial literacy. The course is taught by business teacher, Dalton Gregory.


On Friday, October 29th the Skills USA Leadership Team attended a leadership and team conference at Sam Houston University.

THS Paraprofessional of the Month
Mrs. Kathryn Hudman is the newest member of the THS Counseling Department, replacing Mrs. Herndon. Kathryn is doing a fantastic job and we are so lucky to have her :) She was also selected by staff as our Paraprofessional of the Month. Congratulations Mrs. Hudman!!


THS Teacher of the Month
Mrs. Laurie Williams is the THS October Teacher of the Month. The THS Yearbook department sponsored by Mrs. Madison Brown, along with the Digital Arts and Graphic Design Classes taught by Ms. Sharon Cole, have created our new format for announcing our winners. :) Thank you to our sponsors and student groups. THS International Club at the Houston Grand Opera!
On Tuesday night, the THS International Club attended the Houston Grand Opera and saw Bizet's "Carmen" from 1875. Carmen is considered the most popular opera in the world. THS Students were among 1300 high school students attending. The International Club sponsor is Mrs. Monica Vaughan. Also in attendance were chaperones Ms. Crane, Mrs. Errington, Mr. Rogers, and Ms. Fierro.

She’s spent her 23 year career working in and around the Liberty County area, working at Liberty, Dayton, and Goose Creek ISDs. Ms. Fierro’s extensive experience and hometown familiarity are what make her such a great fit for our community.
